SEALSQ (WKEY) lifts revenue 65% and keeps guidance intact

What happened

SEALSQ Corp (WKEY) reported preliminary 9M 2026 revenue of $16.3 million, up 65% from $9.9 million in 9M 2025. The company kept FY 2026 revenue guidance at $27 million to $36 million and said Q4 2026 revenue should be between $11 million and $20 million. Cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash were about $463.0 million at September 30, 2026.

The company said the 9M gain came mainly from demand for the Vault-IC secure-element family, recurring PKI subscriptions, IC Alps SAS, and the Quantix Edge Security project in Murcia, Spain.

Why it matters

The filing supports the view that SEALSQ can use its cash balance to build more recurring revenue. It showed a $6.4 million rise in 9M revenue and growth in recurring PKI subscriptions, certificate-management and digital identity services. It also said IC Alps SAS contributed about $3.8 million in 9M 2026, and the active pipeline was above $200 million through 2029.

SEALSQ said more than $100 million of that pipeline is tied to post-quantum projects, and those products should add more in 2027. The liquidity gives the company room to keep funding product work while it waits for post-quantum semiconductors to add more revenue. Management also said the figures are estimates and that conversion risk, customer validation, technical integration and other commercial risks can still block revenue.

What's next

SEALSQ targets the QS7001 V1 Common Criteria Hardware Evaluation Test Report in October 2026 and the V2 full post-quantum report in January 2027. Formal CC EAL5+ certification is set to move ahead in 2027. The company expects fourth-quarter 2026 revenue of $11 million to $20 million.

It also plans QVault TPM183 TCG certification for February 2027 and QVault TPM185 for May 2027. A finish near the guided range and progress on certifications would support the case. Delays or weaker customer conversion would hurt it.
