What happened
Claritev Corporation (NYSE: CTEV) appointed Jennifer Main to its board on October 15, 2026, and expanded the board to 12 directors.
Main fills a newly created directorship as a Class II director and a member of the Audit Committee.
Jason Kap stopped serving on the Audit Committee.
Claritev said Main brings more than three decades of leadership across healthcare, technology, government and finance.
She is chief financial officer of RealMDai, doing business as Certuma, and Overture Life. She has held those roles since March 2026.
Main previously served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Amalgam Rx from 2021 to 2026.
She also served as chief operating officer of the Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services from 2018 to 2021.
At the U.S. Department of Treasury, Main was chief financial officer for the Troubled Assets Relief Program.
Main holds a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in history from Cornell University.

Why it matters
OptimistFi's case is that Claritev can be a healthcare cost-containment platform only if its pre-payment claims workflow keeps producing payer savings fast enough to rebuild margins and service a levered balance sheet.
This filing leaves that operating test unchanged, but it adds a director with healthcare, government and finance experience.
The board rose from 11 to 12 directors, a 9.1% increase, so the update is about oversight rather than execution.
Claritev says it serves more than 750 healthcare payers, over 100,000 employers, 60 million consumers and 1.4 million contracted providers.
The clearest caveat is that this governance change does not itself show better margins or payer savings.
The filing changes the board's makeup, not Claritev's operating results, so investors still need evidence on execution.

What's next
Main will receive compensation as a non-employee director under Claritev's policy and enter the company's standard indemnification agreement.
Those steps are administrative, so the next investor test is whether later results show continued payer savings and margin repair.
If they do, the board addition looks supportive of the existing strategy.
