Why it matters

The filing shows Accenture kept sales, bookings and margins moving higher. That supports the view that large client work can keep driving growth. OptimistFi's calculation shows fiscal 2026 revenue increased by $4.51 billion from fiscal 2025. Adjusted net income was $8.77 billion, adjusted EPS was $13.97 and free cash flow was $11.62 billion for the year.

The company also returned $11.5 billion to shareholders, including $7.5 billion in share repurchases or redemptions and $4.0 billion in cash dividends. Adjusted figures exclude business optimization costs recorded in fiscal 2026 and fiscal 2025, which the filing says were mainly for employee severance.

What's next

Accenture expects full-year fiscal 2027 revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency and GAAP diluted EPS of $14.39 to $14.81. It also expects to return at least $9.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2027, below the $11.5 billion returned in fiscal 2026.

The company will host a conference call at 8:00 a.m. EDT today to discuss the results. It declared a quarterly dividend of $1.71 per share for shareholders of record at the close of business on October 13, 2026, payable on November 13, 2026. Commentary that supports the FY27 outlook and bookings momentum would strengthen the case. Softer guidance would weaken it.
