Lincoln University students will begin pre-registering this week for classes offered during the Fall 2008 semester.
According to Gary W.Clarke, the interim director of the Registrar's office, a new advising system called webadvisor--which is popular at many colleges--will assist advisors in placing students in their required course.
Students with a balance over $4,000 will not be able to pre-register for classes.
In years past, students have long complained that Lincoln did not offer enough courses, sending them scrambling at the last minute to enroll in an open course, even if the classes were not needed for their major. In response to the shortage of courses, various departments across campus have offered new classes and additional sections.
