The left-footed dynamic midfielder scored his 50th career goal during a 2-1 defeat to Mount Olive College. The 50 goals are the most by an individual player in the modern era (1991-2007) of Lincoln University men's soccer. Jarbo also scored during the lions 4-1 defeat to nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg.
Jarbo, a native of Liberia, is first on the team with 11 goals, and also leads the team in points with 25. Jarbo is currently ranked 12th in goals per game (1.0) and 16th in points per game (2.27). It's the third straight year Jarbo has finished among the Top 20 nationally in goals and scoring per game.
He recently put an end to his stellar career at Lincoln University. He finished his career at Lincoln with 54 goals. During his stay at Lincoln, the midfield was his domain. He patrolled, controlled and organized it. In soccer terminology, he was the maestro of the midfield. Coaches respected him, defenses struggled to contain him, and goalies were terrified of his powerful left-footed shot. Some of Jarbo's accomplishments include:
-Finished his career with 54 goals and eight hat-tricks.
-Scored 14 goals (freshman), 15 (sophomore, 14 (junior) and 11 (senior).
-Named to Association of Division III Independents first team all-soccer following sophomore & junior year.
-Became 15th player in Division III history to score six goals in a single game (October 2, 2005 at Gallaudet).
-Scored four goals and handed out three assists during 7-1 win over Lancaster Bible in his junior year.
-Scored five game-winning goals during his career.
On the soccer field, Jarbo is similar to NBA superstar Allen Iverson. Just as Iverson is known for his great ball handling control, the same can be said of Jarbo. On the field, the ball is affectionately married to Jarbo's feet. He is a threat wherever and whenever he gets the ball because he has the ability to break down defenses from a variety of angles
"He is very stylish and a consistent strikers" said Kamal Ibrahim, a former teammate. "He played his best every game and also played with emotions."
Jarbo has abilities that seperates him from the rest of his peers.
