Watch out for the new fashion police of Lincoln University.

These individuals have been trained to spot "hot messes!" They are giving out citations with no questions asked for people who break fashion rules. From misdemeanors to felonies, they're coming full force!

Do Not
• Wear furry boots with skirts!
• Arch your own eyebrows if you don't know
what you're doing
• Get highlights that obviously are not
natural
• Try to wear a wrap if it doesn't go all
the way around your head
• Wear sneakers with your skirts
• Wear toe socks with your sandals
• Wear clothing just because it's name-brand
• Have blonde hair with black roots or vice
versa
• Wear chipped toe-nail polish or self-
created French pedicures with open-toed
shoes
• Buy it because it was on sale
• Wear low rise jeans if your sides and
stomach are hanging over like fresh
baked muffins in a cake pan
• Wear banana clips if no hair hangs out
• Wear cornrolls if your hangtime is not
at least neck-length
• Wear different shades of one color! (We
all see the difference!)
• Try too hard to create the "vintage" look
• Mix silver and gold jewelry


DO
• Wear pearls (Need I say more?)
• Wear clean supportive bra (everything
will fit better)
• Have at least one "good" outfit
• Buy a two-tone watch so that you can
wear it with silver or gold jewelry.
• Spend a little extra for a classic item
that you know will last.
• Wear belts that match your shoes
• Go for the "feather wrap look" (no
grease)
• Wear quality jewelry
• Clean underwear
• Wedges as opposed to pointy toed heels
• Go for the "relaxed" vintage look
• Iron (it is not illegal)
• Wear black (it really makes you look
smaller)
• Keep your whites white (sneakers
especially)
• Mix fatigue bottoms with solid tops
