LU Gets a New Women's Mentoring Program

Abstract:
Lincoln University will soon be getting a new freshman ladies mentoring program, in the form of Quest II Womanhood.

Founded in the wake of Boyz II Men mentoring program's success, Quest to Womanhood is the brain child of Nashee Pritchett, a 19-year-old Lincoln University sophomore and President of Quest II Womanhood....

"Quest II Womanhood means the world to me," says Pritchett. "It is in itself a representation of my goals and my willingness to support my fellow women and help them to be the best they can be," she says.

Despite all the hard work and commitment, Pritchett feels this is the least she can do to help advance Lincoln University's legacy. As Womanhood's mission statement says, "Our essential goal is to advance the legacy of the first historically black college and teach these young women what it means to be a true Lincoln woman."

This is a great cause.
